The summer holidays are hard. I am still working two hours a day but I am not doing much the rest of the time.

I am a little bored. So bored that I am washing my floors 2 times a week. ;)

I would like to go do something outside but it is so hot right now that it is impossible to go outside (33c to 36 average in the last week).  I had Jorge's motorcycle for the last two weeks and I only drove 127km on it. It stayed in the garage.
I can't wait to see my next electricity bill. I got the air conditioning at 16c in the bedroom all night for me and day for my wife (she is working the night shift).

It is so hot now that, when I spill water on the floor, it dries before I can wipe it.
It is so hot now that, I sweat in a cold shower.
It is so hot now that, my urine evaporates before it reaches the toilet bowl.

Get the picture????  Ha ha ha :)

In the good news:
Nikolas, my French friend is back in Taiwan after 4 months in France. He lives 5 minutes from my house but, we don't see each other because, It is so hot that, all our shoes have melted on the road going to each others houses.
Also our other friend Bastien (from France) is in Taiwan from Holland/China/USA/Korea for 2 weeks. We wanted to have a drink today, but it was so hot that, the ice melted before we could get it in the glass.

My friend John is coming to live in our private community in Jhudong. He came to visit the house yesterday. It was so hot that we stayed in the car (with air cond) and looked at the outside of the house with the windows of the car closed. We only opened the windows to ask the landlord if there was air cond in every rooms. He answered yes and John took the house without visiting it.

We also had a Typhoon last week. 16 deads and a lot of damage in the South of the island. Here up North we were ok.

Finally I didn't go to the racing event on Sunday. I just didn't feel like it. I felt like having a traditional Sunday. A little shopping and cleaning.

First I went to Nova ( Nova is an electronics market. A hundred stores that sales pc parts at a cheap prices and it is possible to negotiate the prices.) to replace my pc's dvd burner. I bought the old one a week ago and it never worked properly. It was a BenQ. Please don't buy BenQ parts, it is crap.

After that it went shopping for food. Salami, Ham and cheese. I felt like at the "Marcher Jean-Talon" Just a lot more expensive.

In the afternoon I started to mop the floor on the second floor. Then I noticed that my stairs where dirty, so I did the stairs too. I looked at the third floor and it needed a clean too, so I cleaned it too.
To make a short story, I mopped the entire house. All of the 5 floors.

Damn, my house is way to big or I need a maid.

I should have gone to the race track it would have been more relaxing. Ha ha ha.

In other news, the Typhoon has changed course and it might miss the island. We will see. It would be nice to have a BBQ on Friday.

As promise, here is the video  I did at the race track Saturday.

It's Typhoon season again.

Typhoon
FENGSHEN who has killed more than 200 people in the Philipines is coming straight to Taiwan.

Here we go again. Thank god that Taiwan is better prepared for Typhoons that the Philipines.

This year for the Typhoon season, I will try to make some video reports to help you understand how it feels from the inside.

Time to go seal the windows now.

This blog has been quiet lately hasn't it?

Well, maybe because life has been simple in the past weeks.

-Jorge is coming home to eat dinner every Friday.
-It is the end of the semester at school and starting next week I will work 2 hours a day.

-I got no motorcycle so, I don't have any motorcycle stories to tell you.

- My wife is happy.

Here is something I got a sinus infection. Ha ha ha.

Actually, today I went to the race track. One of my friends lent me one of his bike for the day. Thanks dude it had been a long time since I didn't get to drive something else than a lawnmower. ( Just kidding there are no lawns or grass in Taiwan.)

I also got the chance to shoot a movie of drift cars and got a ride in one of them at the track. BMW M6   V10   500HP. Now, that was fun.

As a bonus I also got the second baddest sunburn of the century ( got the biggest of the century 2 weeks ago at the dragon boat festival. As you have seen on the video???)
What??? You don't watch my videos???? You are now banned from this blog. Ha ha ha.

Tomorrow I am supposed to go back to the track to shoot a movie. All of Taiwan's best sports cars will be there. I will see how my red face will do first, and if it is ok, I will go.

Ps: I will post a video of the drifting cession later. ( But, when you will read this, you will have already seen it because it will be on top of the page. Ha ha ha .)
